StoryActivation® is the process of launching your story into the world so it reaches and resonates with your target audience. It means taking your completed manuscript and going through the whole publishing and launching process.
StoryStrategy is the roadmap for sharing your message in a way that maximizes impact, influence, and income. It identifies your goals, target audience, core messaging, and key platforms for reaching them.
StorySharing is an additional service that helps authors effectively launch their book by providing publicity and marketing support. Highlights of this service includes: a full media kit; book website; promotional materials; and book launch team support. Additionally, a professional audiobook is included in the package.
The StorySharing package serves as a marketing guide to help authors expand their reach when pushing toward the on sale date for the book. With industry experts guiding authors and providing some tips and tricks for a successful launch, authors who use StorySharing will be a step ahead in understanding what is needed to support a successful book launch.

When it comes to promoting a book (and platform in preparation for a book launch), it is never too soon to start communicating with your audience via social media, video, and email.
Traditional book marketing and publicity typically begins as early as six months prior to the release of the book. The bulk of the marketing campaign focuses on the 2-3 weeks leading up to launch and then 2-3 weeks following launch, with the concentration of efforts on launch week. If an author is choosing to have a launch team, that work begins at least 6 weeks prior to the launch.
While the intense focus is about 6 weeks surrounding launch, one should emphasize the book months in advance and even months after release through regular eblasts, social media, ads, etc., encompassing more of a 6-month span.
Authors should be focusing on the book and regularly talking about it three months prior to launch (and potentially teasing content up to as much as 6 months prior to the launch). Authors should continue to emphasize the book for a minimum of four months following the release. Remember, the first year is the best year for book sales, so the focus needs to be on the book.
